A YMC-Triart C8 é desenvolvida a partir de sílica hibrida funcionalizada com grupos C8, com menor hidrofobicidade em relação à YMC-Triart C18 convencional, apesar de manter parâmetros como a resistência química. Esta é uma coluna ideal para métodos cuja a retenção de analitos é exageradamente alta e para a separação de alguns isômeros estruturais.
